Founder/Director, Adam Steel, has dedicated his life to help others GROW. He began his philanthropic work during his  senior year at San Diego State University where be became a mentor for autistic teens and volunteered in Ecuador to help impoverished children. Since then, has won numerous awards as a filmmaker, created and taught a film-making class for low-income students in East Los Angeles, served as a mentor for homeless and incarcerated youth, and has created lasting partnerships with non-profits and businesses. Adam is continuing his growth by pursuing his Masters degree in Counseling. His passion for philanthropy and film has driven him to create the GROW Awareness Agency.

Ensō () is a Japanese word meaning "circle." Only a person who is mentally and spiritually complete can draw a true ensō.

The opening may expresses that the ensō is not separate, but is part of something greater, or that imperfection is an essential and inherent aspect of existence.
